Got a flair for words or just enjoy scribbling your thoughts? Come one, come all to the Teen Writing Circle where you can share your latest poetic masterpiece or that unfinished novel that's more "whoops" than "what a pro." This gathering is perfect for everyone from the seasoned scribbler to those who can barely put pen to paper without a panic attack. You'll get the chance to swap ideas, offer up feedback, and thankfully realize you're not the only local amateur showering praises on your own writing.

Hosted by the fabulous folks at Independence Regional Library, this shindig is aimed at teens between the ages of 12 and 18. You can join us on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the library located at 6000 Conference Drive, right here in Charlotte, NC. The best part? It won't cost you a dime, so no need to rummage through your couch cushions for spare change. Just bring your creativity, a sense of humor, and possibly a snack—because writing is hungry work.
