Ready to give back while having a bit of fun? Join us for a quirky service project where you can rack up some community service hours and possibly avoid your usual routine of binge-watching shows. This month, we're diving into the world of crafting cat toys for the Humane Society of Charlotte. Because let's face it, those furry felines deserve more than just a cardboard box to play in.

The Humane Society is on a mission to create loving homes for pets and to bid farewell to the days of homeless and unwanted animals hanging around like your weird uncle at family gatherings. So come hang out with us on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Independence Regional Library. Just a heads up, this free event requires registration, but that's a small price to pay for the chance to help some cats live their best lives. Plus, who wouldn't want to flex those crafting skills?
