On March 22, 2025, we're shaking things up in the Queen City with West Fest: An HBCU Showcase. Imagine a gathering of some of the coolest universities in the country, all right here in Charlotte, NC. It's like a family reunion, but instead of awkward conversations with distant cousins, you can expect an afternoon packed with good vibes, delicious food, and tunes that'll get you groovin'.

This fantastic day is absolutely free for students in grades 6-12 and their families because who doesn't love a free outing? Just make sure to register, or you might end up wandering around looking for where the fun's at. Join us from 10 AM to 3 PM at the West Boulevard Library, where the only thing more exciting than the event is the chance to finally learn what HBCUs are all about without the pressure of exams.
